“Volunteering has made me a better person. I found out what I wanted to do in the future. You helped me to find my passion, I now want to work with children in the future.” Ayoub, 19.

Volunteering with Solidarity Sports is a meaningful way to give back. You will  develop your skills, enjoy new experiences, and make lasting connections with the community.

If you love being around children, there’s a place for you at Solidarity Sports. Specific skills are not required—the main ingredients for a successful volunteer are enthusiasm and a desire to help make a difference in kids’ lives.

If you have any questions or would like to learn more about volunteering with us, we’d love to hear from you! Call or drop our Volunteer Manager, Idris, a message on 07445390198.

In 2020, our volunteers supported us across 10 projects.

Volunteering Q&A

  • Official qualifications are not required to volunteer with us but we do ask that all of our volunteers have a passion for working with children! Our children have very difficult lives and need the best possible care and attention at all times.

Previous experience with children is not crucial but is of course helpful.

We will also require you to be DBS Checked before volunteering with us.

  • We ask that volunteers be aged 16 or over.

  • The beauty of our holiday projects is that we do a different activity every single day. We will typically meet at 10am and finish by 4pm, but some activities may require us to meet earlier and finish later.
