Solidarity Sports project for 2010 'HEALTH FOR ALL' will be a summer filled with fun for all involved! Children will be given the opportunity to learn, bond and make new friends during a wide range of activities.
Sport
Sport activities will involve team games played in a friendly atmosphere, developing children's co-ordination, fitness, communication and social skills. Football, cricket, kick rounders and other team bonding sports will take place.
Healthy Eating
Children will cook healthy, nutritious and wholesome food from scratch. The meals will represent the children's nationalities so we will be cooking food from all over the world!
Art
Children will be encouraged to create 2D/3D pieces of art using their imagination. The art and craft activities will range from small sculpture work to imaginative drawings and paintings.
Trips
Every Friday, we will take the children and some parents on an exciting trip. Trips will include: Science Museum, Ice-skating and a tour of Lords Cricket Ground.
