Fun Trips!
"It was the first time I went ice-skating. I did fall over but so did my friends so that made me feel fine about it" Joshua, 9.
A day at the museum, a trip to a theme park or a visit to a city farm is something that many young people take for granted. However, children from low-income backgrounds are often excluded and are unable to benefit from these exciting outings.
As well as the fun and excitement of the trip, the children benefit in terms of improved personal and educational development, improved social behaviour and enhanced self-esteem and confidence. Parents of the children are also welcome to join us; we find that it is very beneficial for families to bond outside the home environment.
We believe every child has the right to experience the magic of theatre. We provide the opportunity to experience many different types of productions – musicals, plays, opera, ballet, pantomime, ice shows and musical ensembles.
A glimpse of some of our favourite trips:
Gambado Chelsea
A thrilling indoor adventure playground, bring the children and let them play in a healthy, fun and above all safe environment whilst learning some of the most valuable development skills: social, risk taking, coordination, educational, creative and exercise.
The Science Museum

The Science Museum was founded in 1857 as part of the South Kensington Museum, and gained independence in 1909. Today the Museum is world renowned for its historic collections, awe-inspiring galleries and inspirational exhibitions.
The Lyric Theatre
The Lyric Hammersmith aims to produce work that is provoking, entertaining, popular, eclectic, messy, contradictory and diverse. They are at the heart of their local community and are internationally recognised. The Lyric has beautiful theatre, great pizza and a rooftop garden.
Ice-skating at Somerset House
Described by Time Out as "One of the most impressive skating backdrops in the world" – a wonderful experience for everyone. Ice-skating is a unique activity, which is especially good for developing children’s balance. Falling over, getting back up and overcoming obstacles is all part of an important learning experience!
