Food For Thought is a healthy living project that will give children aged 7 to 11 a great opportunity to learn, bond and have fun. Children will make tasty, healthy meals from scratch and be taught the importance of having a balanced diet. There will also be an arts and crafts aspect to the project. Children will be inspired to create 2D and 3D pieces of art and a selection will be chosen to illustrate our cook book.

After cooking our delicious meals, we will play a variety of sports such as football and cricket, learning the importance of teamwork and good sportsmanship. Every Friday, we will go on a special trip to a sport or health institute. Trips will include visiting a City Farm and touring a London Football Club.

Food For Thought will be evaluated with a colourful international children's cookery book. The aim of the book is to celebrate the cultural diversity of the children who attend the project. If you have any expertese in publishing books and wish to support us, please contact us.

This project will take place from 12 to 4, Monday to Friday, from 27 July to 4 September
