"It's good to have a taste of a different sport. I know lots of skills but with tennis I learnt new ones" Krishna, 10.

Our summer project for 2011, 'SPORT 4 CHANGE', was our busiest ever! Some of our highlights included:

Campden Hill Lawn Tennis Club
Founded is 1884, the club boosts some of the best tennis facilities in London and has a friendly, inviting atmosphere. Professional coaches taught children how to use the correct technique when striking the ball and for many of them, it was their first experience of tennis. On the final day, former mayor and councillor Richard Walker-Arnott attended to give certificates to the children. Thanks to everyone at the club for a memorable week!

The Science Museum
IMAX Cinema: A stunning film where the viewers are plunged into the ocean and become part of an epic underwater struggle in Wild Ocean 3D. On this journey of discovery they watched one of nature’s greatest migration spectacles – an underwater feeding frenzy and epic struggle for survival where whales, sharks, dolphins, seals, gannets meet billions of fish.

Kensington Palace (followed by a picnic)
Children went from room to room of this historic building, finding the hidden Princess. 'The Room of a Sleeping Princess' is a display inspired by Victoria's constrained childhood here at Kensington Palace. Celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the planting of the beautiful Sunken Garden by enjoying the views of this intimate and tranquil oasis.
